Fencing, Fence Repair and Landscaping in Barnt Green
As a family run fencing company, new fences, fence repair and gates come first, and we can finish the garden around them: patios, lawns, decking, sleepers, walls and clearance.

New fencing in Barnt Green, put up straight and solid
Most of our work is fencing. We fit closeboard fences, overlap panels and decorative lattice-top panels, usually on concrete posts with concrete gravel boards along the base, which keeps the timber off the soil.
Whether it is one tired run at the bottom of the garden or every boundary round a new-build plot, we measure up, talk you through the options and give you a free quote before anything starts.
Fences we fit
- Closeboard (featheredge) fencing
- Overlap and lap panels
- Decorative lattice-top and arched panels
- Picket fencing
- Trellis screens and garden arches
Where they go
- Back garden boundaries
- Front gardens and driveways
- Roadside and corner plots
- New-build gardens

Fence repair when a storm or old age gets the better of it
A fence that is leaning, missing a panel or rotting at the base rarely gets better on its own. Tell us what has happened, send a photo if you can, and we will come and take a look.
If the fence can be put right, we will say so. If the posts or panels have had their day, we will quote for the part that needs replacing, so you can decide with the facts in front of you.
Common problems
- Panels blown out in high winds
- Leaning or snapped posts
- Rotten or broken boards
- Cracked gravel boards
What we can do
- Replace single panels or boards
- Replace failed posts
- Rebuild a whole run when it is past repair

Timber gates that close properly
A gate takes more punishment than any other part of a fence, so it needs firm posts and proper hinges. We hang single side gates, pairs of driveway gates and five-bar gates, built to suit the fence around them.
Gates we have fitted
- Curved-top side gates
- Double driveway gates
- Tall privacy gates
- Five-bar gates

Patios and paths in porcelain and natural stone
Once the boundary is sorted, the patio is usually next. We lay porcelain paving and Indian sandstone, including Kandla grey, for patios across the back of the house and paths down the side.
Paving we lay
- Porcelain paving
- Indian sandstone
- Paths beside the house
- Patios edged with sleepers or turf

Turf and artificial grass
We lay fresh turf on a levelled base, and fit artificial grass for anyone who would rather not mow. Both are often part of a bigger job, finished alongside a new fence or patio.
Lawns we lay
- Fresh turf
- Artificial grass
- Timber or paved edging

Decking, sleepers and walls
Sloping gardens and empty corners are where these come in. We build composite decking, timber sleeper raised beds and steps, brick retaining walls and steps, and rendered raised beds with built-in seating.
Features we build
- Composite decking
- Sleeper raised beds and steps
- Brick walls and steps
- Rendered raised beds and seating

Garden clearance before the new work starts
Some gardens need clearing before a fence or patio can go in. We cut back overgrown plots, dig out old tree stumps and get the ground ready for whatever comes next.
Clearance work
- Overgrown gardens cut back
- Tree stumps dug out
- Ground cleared for fencing, patios and lawns
